West Hampstead tube station is in West Hampstead, NW6 2LS, on West End Lane between Broadhurst Gardens and Blackburn Road.
It is on the Jubilee Line, situated between Kilburn and Finchley Road. It is in Travelcard Zone 2 and is 100 metres (328 ft) from West Hampstead railway station. West Hampstead Thameslink railway station is slightly further away (200m).
The station originally opened 30 June 1879 as part of the Metropolitan Line. From November 20, 1939 it was on the Stanmore branch of the Bakerloo Line and was transferred to the Jubilee Line in 1979.
The station is not accessible by wheelchair.
