Reuters reported recently that according to a global survey, London parking prices are the highest in the world and London now holds that dubious honour for two years running.
According to a comparison done by Colliers International the average parking per month in the City of London comes to roughly £620.
This is an astronomical amount of money, no matter how you try to justify it as to scarcity of parking, the overcrowded city and the congested traffic.
If you have to be anywhere in the greater London area occasionally, the solution is simple; leave your car in Outer London and make use of the tube system.
You can avoid extortionate parking fees and having to pay the Congestion Charge by using the Tube and our text service to find free parking near tube stations outside the congestion zone. Simply text the word Parking plus the name of a tube station OUTSIDE THE CONGESTION ZONE to 80039 and you’ll receive a text back giving you three locations near the tube, or the one closest to it on the same line.
